SBS 5810 IPTV/OTT Transcoder V2 is a real-time SPTS/MPTS transcoder, which supports converting media files from their source format into the best possible quality stream to downstream network, CDN or any other specific video distribution system.
SBS5810 supports multiple media resource input, capable of ingesting IP feeds, DVB feeds, ATSC feeds, ISDB-T feeds or HDMI videos. It supports converting streams to MPEG-4 or H.264/H.265 format, compressing the streams’ bit rate, changing the graphics resolution and so on.
SBS5810 can be easily managed through NMS system and has become an ideal solution for operators to provide high quality video transcoding.
SBS5810 currently has 3 hardware versions to meet various system’s requirements:
Version 1 supports installation of 2 SBS DVB/ATSC/ISDB-T capturing cards (up to 16 tuners) for receiving signals from DVB/ATSC/ISDB-T. It supports transcoding up to 30 HD or 60-80 SD channels.
Version 2 only supports IP stream input, not available to be installed with any SBS tuner card. It supports transcoding up to 40 HD or 80-100 SD channels.
Version 3 supports installation of 2pcs SBS DVB-C/DVB-T modulator cards (up to 8 frequencies) for converting IP streams to DVB-C or DVB-T signals and output via RF ports. It supports to output of up to 360Mbps DVB-C signal or 217Mbps DVB-T signal
